Data Recovery Direct has a seasoned team of
engineers recovering data from laptop and desktop hard drives. It does not
matter if the problem is physical (such as track failure, head crash, fire
damage) or logical (such as accidental format, deleted file, fdisk, virus,
damaged boot sector, missing FAT, or partition).

General Data Recovery Questions.
i need your help with my usb hard drive its got power socket in the back and Av socket so i can watch the any movie i download and put in but one problem last night i format the hard drive and one or two file gone missing i think last letter is .dll or something like that and its wont work at all without that file can you help please?
It is possible to recover data after a harddrive has been formatted but it is not always possible to recover everything and if you have used the harddrive since this will reduce the chances.
However if you do not need any data that was previously on this drive only the setup files you should speak with the manufacturer of the product as they will likely be able to supply the setup files.

I have 6 Serial Attached SCSI drives (SAS) configured as RAID-5, 2 of them have failed, Will I be able to access my data again if I rebuild the RAID from the controller BIOS screen?
Building RAID volume with two failed drives will destroy your data! so the answer is no! Please visit our RAID Server web page or call us to help you getting your data recovered.

I dropped my Maxtor DiamondMax 10 hard drive on the floor and now hear musical noise coming from it! Can you recover the data?
Its a common problem with some Maxtor drives, the musical noise is generated receives power but unable to spin. It is an internal spindle motor/bearing problem.
In most cases we can recover data from drives with such problem.

Hard drive making a clicking noise.
This can be a number of problems ranging from mis-aligned head, to corrupt firmware on the drive electronics. This can still be recovered.
|
Scan disk of hard drive shows bad sectors
We use a special recovery technique which can magnetically repair the bad sectors before recovering data, therefore minimizing the chance of having corrupt data returned.
|
No BIOS when i start up my computer.
This is most likely a hardware electrical fault that could be caused by a power spike to the drive, which can damage the electronics on the drive.
